Beautiful Baby Maria

Almost a month and a half ago I met Tammy and Craig to take some maternity photos for them. If you scroll back through my blog posts, you can see a few photos from that session. I loved working with them and was thrilled when they contacted me to do some newborn photos for their beautiful two-and-a-half-week-old daughter, Maria. Maria is the sweetest little baby, complete with a full head of dark, gorgeous hair. She was a dream to work with and let us move her around and disturb her sleep a bit to capture her in all of her newborn glory. I hope that I get to work with her and her parents again someday. Here is a little peek at the beautiful Maria.

Double Shoot

Last night I had a very fun double shoot with two boys, Noah and Ryan. Little Noah came all dressed up in the cutest little tux and looked absolutely adorable. He wasn't very happy to have his photos taken, even with a smash cake, but after a bottle and a break from the camera, he was much happier. We had to work for some smiles, but he was so cute that all of the photos came out great no matter what the expression.
Ryan is a huge basketball lover and came ready with his own ball to pose with. He is a really sweet young guy and did a great job helping us out with Noah as well. Here are a few of my favorite shots so far.

One-Year-Old Twins

On Sunday afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing one-year-old twins, Catherine and Isabel, and their family. The girls just turned one this month and were absolutely adorable! We got some great shots of them with their parents and some with their grandparents, but I think the girls' favorite part of the shoot was feeding the ducks. Here's a little peek at Catherine and Isabel.

Currie Siblings

A few nights ago I had a shoot with three siblings, Claybron, Laura, and Joseph. We did a double shoot of sorts, with both a studio-style shoot and an on-location shoot. These three kids were the best posers. Clay and Laura loved to have their photos taken and came up with all of their own poses. Joseph was a little shy at first, but when he warmed up he flashed a lot of smiles my way too. Here is a little sneak peek of the Currie siblings.

Senior Shoot

Last night I went out with a couple of lovely ladies who are graduating this year, Jessica and Colleen. They were not interested in traditional grad photos, but instead wanted to commemorate the event with a few photos of the two of them together, as well as some of themselves and their boyfriends. We had to reschedule a few times due to bad weather, but we hoped for the best last night and headed to the beach to get the shots. After what seemed like a hundred days of rainy weather, the sun broke through the clouds and we were able to get some great shots. Here's a little preview for Jessica and Colleen.

Grade 5 Grad

Last night I had the pleasure of getting together with a really sweet young lady named Allison. She is about to graduate from grade five and is moving into the middle school in the fall, so she and her mom wanted a few photos to document the occassion. We had a ton of fun and she was totally willing to do everything that I asked of her. It was a great time and I am really enjoying editing the shots. Here are a few of my favorites.

Butland Family

Last night I met up with the Butland family to do some family photos. It was a really fun shoot and, I must admit, a bit of a challenge because the Butlands have six people in their wonderful family. That may not sound so big, but four of those people happen to be under the age of five. Just the thought of having that many young kids tires me out, but Cindy and Warren are amazing parents. I was absolutely impressed with how all of the kids sat for photos and were very patient and happy the whole time. They are all really happy, well-behaved children. Here's a little peek at one of their shots and also a little snapshot I grabbed of the baby, Alexandria, while she was sitting in her stroller after the shoot.
