Baby Bump!

I have to say it - I love baby bellies! I loved mine was I was pregnant and I love seeing the many, many baby bumps that are around right now. So, naturally, I love photographing pregnant women. Yesterday I went out to have a baby bump session with Erin and her husband, Craig. It was a thirty degree, beautiful, sunny, blue-skied day, but just as my luck would have it, the skies opened up and it began to rain hard after taking only one shot. Luckily for me, Erin and Craig were troopers and we were able to take advantage of Erin's mom's beautiful home for some indoor shots. The rain did eventually stop and we were able to go back outside for some more shots. Erin and Craig, you were a pleasure to work with and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Owen and Isaiah

Last night I went out to photograph two super cute brothers, Owen and Isaiah. I had so much fun with these two (and their mommy)! We wandered around looking at everything from trains, to geese, from feathers to apples. I loved being able to catch shots of them as they had fun exploring everything around them. Here are a few of my favorites so far.

Murph and Ryan

A few months ago one of my friends, Melissa (who I actually never call Melissa, but instead Murph) got engaged to her long term boyfriend, Ryan. Shortly after she asked me to photograph her wedding. I immediately said no. After a lot of convincing on her part and a lot of thinking on mine, I reluctantly agreed. I'm still not sure that it was the right decision, but she assures me all the time that I can give her what she wants. She also asked me to do their engagement shoot, which we have been wanting to do for some time now. On Sunday evening we finally had the chance. Murph, Ryan, their dogs and I headed to Cape Enrage to finally get some engagement shots. Here's a little peek at a few of my favorites so far.

Miss Haley

Yesterday I was lucky enough to take photos of a lovely two-year-old named Haley. As soon as we met she told me that she loved having her photo taken and I knew that we were going to have a fun shoot. I was right! Haley is super cute and a complete chatterbox. She didn't stop talking the entire time that we were together and she reminded me a lot of my own daughter, Ella. I had a ton of fun following her around, trying to capture her sweet smile and listening to her talk. Here are a few shots of Miss Haley.

Mar's Baby Bump

Last year on Canada Day I went out with my sister, Marley, and her then fiance, Nathan, to do their engagement shots. It was my first "real shoot" and I was happy that they let me practice on them. Yesterday, a whole year later, I went out to do a shoot with them again - this time a maternity shoot. We ended up getting rained out (surprise, surprise!), so we only have a few shots for now, but I will doing plenty more with them before my new nephew is born. Here's a little peek at my sister's {not so little} baby bump.
