Yesterday afternoon I bundled up and went out into the snow to do an engagement shoot for Kristin and Chris. We were a little concerned about what the weather would be like, considering how bitter cold it had been in the couple of days before, but it actually turned out to be pretty nice. It was my first time shooting in the snow, but we had a really fun shoot that even included Kristin and Chris rolling down hills and getting a bit beat up by the icy snow. We ended up with some really fun shots and I am glad that they asked me to take their photos for them. I don't have many edited right now, but wanted to post a little teaser for Kristin and Chris to see.

Family Christmas Shoot
On Sunday I had a shoot with a wonderful family: mom, Cary; dad, Clarence; and twin two-year-old boys, Daniel and Benjamin. Yes, that's right, twin two-year-olds. I get tired just thinking about that, but the boys were so cute and the camera loved them. It was really fun to watch them play with each other and all of the Christmas props that were around. They were truly a pleasure to shoot and I am really enjoying editing their photos. I only have few done now, but here are a couple of teasers.
Shooting in the Rain
On Saturday I had a shoot scheduled with an old friend, Ben, his wife, Erin, and their dog, Bentley. I hadn't seen them in over a year, so I was really looking forward to it. And as a bonus, the weather was supposed to be beautiful. Well when Saturday came the weather wasn't exactly beautiful. Instead it was rainy, dark, and cold. That didn't stop us though. We had a nice little visit and then with the help of my husband (who came out with us and held an umbrella over me and my camera), we still managed to get some cute shots. Here's a little look at the Murray family. Oh, and did I mention how smart Bentley is? He did whatever they wanted him to do, which is more than I can say for my kids :)
