Meet sweet baby James, who is only seven weeks old. He is also my very first client from Nunavut :) He just happens to be in the area meeting all of his family and dropped by for some photos along the way. He is such an agreeable little guy and didn't even mind us making him wear an array of winter hats, even though it was a hot July day. And the eyes - beautiful dark blue eyes. I don't know how I get so lucky to have so many clients with gorgeous eyes, but that seems to be the trend. Just another reason taht I love my job! Here's a peek at little Mr. James.
Cheryl and Joel had one of the most beautiful wedding days that I have ever gotten to be a part of. It all started with Cheryl and Joel calling through the halls of the church to each other, wanting so badly to see each other, but wanting to leave that special first look until the ceremony. "I love you babe!" they called whenever they heard each other walk by. They were surrounded by an amazing group of family and friends who supported them and said prayers for them as they began their life together. Every little detail of their day was perfect. They wrote vows for each other that they shared as they choked back tears. They were married under a beautiful chuppah that Joel made with his own two hands that will later double as their bed. There was absolutely no question how in love Cheryl is with Joel and Joel with Cheryl. Cheryl and Joel - thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your day. It was a truly amazing experience and we know that you will happy together for the rest of your lives. Here's a very little peek into the beauty that was Cheryl and Joel's wedding day.
I have to say that I love doing photos for Brooklyn. Her mommy and daddy are friends of ours, so it is always nice to see her, but she is also just so adorable with her huge, dark, sparkly eyes and chubby cheeks. As the dark clouds rolled in yesterday, I feared that we might have to rebook our session, but we managed to dodge the rain. I am so glad we did! Brooklyn was a doll, as always, and totally modeled for the camera. Take a look and see what I mean about the eyes - aren't they great?
I think it's awesome when cousins are close in age and have a great friendship, just like these two little cuties, Haiden and Gracie Lynn, do. I had a blast chasing them around, snapping them while they played and ran, just like two-year-olds do. Here's a little peek at our session together. Enjoy!
The other night I got to play with the cutest little sister-to-be, Elizabeth, and her mommy and daddy, Shannon and Mark. They are expecting a new baby next month and I had a great time documenting this exciting time in their life . It is no secret that I love pregnant bellies, so maternity sessions are always fun for me, but Elizabeth really made this session extra fun. I had so much fun snapping her photo as she peeked through lattice, carried her kitty cat around, and wore her mommy's high heals. I especially loved the fact that she thinks the baby is in mommy's belly button - too cute! I can't wait to meet the new baby next month! Until then, here's a look at the Shaddick family of three, soon to be four. And I just happen to love this shot of Elizabeth's little skittle-stained hands. What better way to get a 2-year-old to have her photo taken?
Last Sunday evening I had a great engagement session on a beautiful waterfront in Cap Pele. I walked with Amanda and Joel to a secluded area where the ocean quietly splashed on the rocks and the sun shone brightly. It was a lovely spot for an engagement session - gorgeous scenery and so quiet and peaceful. Amanda and Joel are so cute together and their love for each other is evident. I know that their October wedding is going to be amazing and I can't wait to be a part of it. Here's a tiny peek at the engagement photos.
Meet little Miss Macie, who came by to have some 3 month photos done. This little girlie is absolutely adorable with her sparkly blue eyes and chubby little cheeks. She wasn't very happy that we made her be a model when all she wanted to do was go to sleep, but we worked quickly and got some cute shots. Here's a little peek at Macie.
I love it when Jack comes to to town and I have the opportunity to take his photos. It is so much fun to see how he changes with each session. He's just as cute as ever with his big eyes and pouty lips and his little personality gets bigger everytime I see him. At our last session he was barely sitting by himself and now he is hanging onto fingers and trying to walk everywhere he goes. So cute! Here's a little peek at Jack at ten months.
I am married to the most supportive husband, Shawn, and am the mommy of two beautiful girls, Ella and Lily. I have a passion for photography and love capturing every moment that I can.
